Last Friday the Australian National Professional Standards for Teachers were released with some strong statements about professional engagement and professional learning.

The timing of the standards publication is apt, as school library professional associations and other professional learning providers in Australian and New Zealand are getting started on their professional learning calendars for the year. SCIS Seminar, ACT, Friday 18 February 2011
